She Took What Was Hers And Left

<

Back when I was a university student, my close friend Weeda and I had just finished classes and were heading home in a shared vehicle. Some days after school, we would treat ourselves to burgers. That day, by coincidence, Weeda had bought two.

A teenage girl and her father boarded the vehicle. The girl sat in the back seat between Weeda and me, while her father took a seat up front with the other passengers.

As the girl joined us, Weeda and I were already enjoying our burgers. Without a second thought, Weeda offered the extra one to the girl. The moment she accepted it, her father told her they had reached their stop. They got off the vehicle — they had only needed to travel about three or four hundred meters.

A short while later, Weeda turned to me and said, “Noorin, did you see that? That burger was meant for her. It was written in her destiny. She received it and left.”

That moment stayed with me. Whatever is meant for someone will surely find its way to them — without doubt, it is God who provides.
