*Lessons Learned from authentic sources and my personal testimony throughout the last ten years of my tough journey.*
Throughout history, Muslims have made remarkable contributions to civilization.
- In 2007, UNESCO honored Mawlana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi Rumi, one of the most influential Sufi poets in history. His renowned work Ma’thnawi Ma’anawi is a poetic translation and interpretation of the Holy Qur’an in Persian. As the poet Jami once said, “Mathnawi Ma’anawi Mawlawi ast Qur’an dar zabān-e Pahlavi“— One could say the Holy Qur’an conquered hearts across the globe in that year.

2. During the era of Harun al-Rashid, Muslims introduced the first mechanical clock to the King of France. So sophisticated was its mechanism that the French king, frightened by it, declared it sorcery and threw it away, calling it a “Jinn.”
3. In the field of medicine, Abu Ali Sina (Avicenna) pioneered academic medical science, laying the foundations for modern medicine.
4. Abu Nasr Al-Farabi revived and enriched philosophy after Aristotle.
5. Meanwhile, Abu Rayhan Al-Biruni, far before Einstein, introduced major concepts in geography, mathematics, and logarithmic systems, and drew a political map of the globe.
6. Ibn al-Nafis discovered the human blood circulation system before William Harvey.
7. Ibn-e-Fars, drawing inspiration from Surah Al-Fil and the story of Prophet Sulaiman’s throne in the Qur’an, developed a conceptual formula for flight. Though he passed away before building a flying machine, it’s said that the Wright Brothers later implemented principles akin to his ideas when inventing the airplane.
8. Muslims of North Africa built ships, long after the ark of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him).
9. In the 29 battles (ghazawat) during Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) 23 years of calling people to Islam, a total of around 3,000 people lost their lives.
Now, contrast that with others in modern history:
- Hitler, the dictator during World War II, killed 45 million people—including 6 million Jews.
- Stalin, the leader of the materialists, was responsible for over 80 million deaths across Yugoslavia, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, the Middle East, and the Caucasus.
- To this day, the United States and Israel are responsible for the deaths of millions globally through various military and political interventions.
So, ask yourself: who is truly responsible for terror? Who gets to define who the “terrorists” are? Brother, study before you judge.
This is just a glimpse into the truth of my religion, Islam. If we truly want to understand any faith, we must study it—not just consume headlines.
My Respect to all religions, And a curse upon the hypocrites of any religion who manipulate faith for profit.
